Sportypal versus Endomondo? Which one?

Ever since I used my HD2... I become someone who like to try anything new with the phone features. This post I only talk about GPS feature.

What is GPS? GPS is a navigational system involving satellites and computers that can determine the latitude and longitude of a receiver on Earth by computing the time difference for signals from different satellites to reach the receiver.

I have use the feature so many times. It has helped me to find my way in Philippines, West Malaysia, East Malaysia and recently in Singapore. Google map is really awesome. It can be as accurate as possible. I had try many applications but Google map still the best!

Not only it helps me to pin point which and where I want to go... but the feature helps me during my workouts too. Mostly during my driving and running sessions. I have use Sportpal for almost a year now. I have been so loyal and it gives me all the statistics that i wanted to see. You can see how many calories have burned, distance traveled, time, speed and etc.

Now I have use Android in my HD2.. I was curious how it performs in Android. After giving it a try last monday during my driving session from my workplace in seria to my house. I give it 5/5! It's awesome compare to Sportypal for windows. Every 1km you cross, it will tells you how much distance and time you had covered. I played music in the background, it works pretty well simultaneously.

Now... for my newly sports application... Endomondo. Yes. The name itself sounds weird. I was thinking about komodo dragon when i first thought about the app name. LOL. Comment? I give it 4.5/5! It's more or less the same as sportypal... you can view more details in the website. What i like the most about this app is... GPS signal is very accurate and it draws on the map pretty awesome! It also recorded what music that i played during my session. But the music halt every time i passed 1km... the narrative takes about 5-6 seconds to finish. Not so intelligent as Sportypal.

The BEST part is... BOTH ARE FREE!!! :)

My new hobby!

I got a new hobby... just discover it today. It is.... TAKING A PICTURE A DAY!!! the best part is.... It's FREE!!! LOL.

I don't like the weather for the past few days... I'm missing the sun. It has been raining and gloomy. II'm stuck at home and waiting for the rain to stop. geez! it ain't cool.

Nevertheless... i love today's monday. so many works.. and didn't realise the time pass by real fast.

My life 36 years ahead...

So... here's my statistics for my life... ahead of 36 years!

Here's the number of years:

Sleep = 12 years

Working = 7.9 years

Leisure = 4.9 years

Travelling time (during weekdays) = 2.9 years

Weekend + holidays = 8 years

okay... why am i doing this? I'm just curious how am i going to survive for the next 36 years of service. By then, i will reach 60 years and relaxing at home. Relaxing? I hope so. I've done my maths based on my current value. It's not accurate... but at least I know how my fraction of life is going to be in the next 36 years.

Looking at the chart.... i think my life is well balanced with work, sleep, leisure and holidays. But the truth is this is not what reflect everyday in my life. I think. Coz I can sense my pressure is building up over time. Because of work? maybe.

I don't like the travelling time.... travelling time & working already make 30% of it. It takes about 11 hours of my daily life. fuh! I only have 14% of my entire 36 years to spend with my family during weekdays... how amazing. No wonder i feel less and less time to spend dinner with them now. My weekend and holidays... just okay. But why SATURDAY AND SUNDAY HAVE TO WAIT SO LONG TO COME AND WHEN IT COMES, IT'S TOO SOON TO END????!!! GAH!!

Whatever~ my life. is. amazing.

Facebook shutting down?

facebook will not shutting down. the news is a hoax. some people like to make this fake news so that many traffics go to their site. pity. relax... facebook will be there for many years to come. just like yahoo and google. night!

2011 - First post

Hello y'all!

Happy new year again! Thanks to God, I still be able to write and post it here. After my unofficial first post at Friendster in July 2006, I didn't write much till December 28th on the same year. After that, I found out I have a passion in writing and still continue until now.

This blog was created to see how I have progress over the years and I can keep some part of my memories here. It also where I vent out my feelings, my emotions, and everything around me. Now I realize, I only blogging after I went back from vacation or just to fill a post so that I don't miss any missing month in the timeline.

I know many of my good friends also still keep on blogging till now.. just like me. Liley and Nana. They are my great buddies! I feel comfy with them. If I need to confess something... they are there to listen and give advices. Though we don't have time to chill like we were in ITB... our bond is still there. You guys rock my world! :)

I haven't come up with any resolutions for this year. But I have set many goals. I want to complete my Asian tour which left me to go for Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam. I can skip Vietnam though... hehe. One of my friend is inviting me to go with him to UK this coming June... but I will think twice coz I have other commitment for this first half of year. If ONLY I manage to save some $$$ before June or else... I might consider to go to US or Australia/New Zealand in december. I know this is too early... but PLANNING is important so that you know how to manage your $$$ wisely ;) *they said i'm addicted to travel... I bet I am... I just want to see the world!*

Talking about $$$... I have come up with my own spreadsheet and be my own personal financial advisor. I haven't save much money ever since I started work 18 months ago. I think I need to do it now... or never?

I need to be more focus this year. This is my final year to end 3-years development plan at my work. Then... It's a real job.
